Dear GVSUG Members and Friends,

This is a reminder that our annual fall meeting is happening Next Week (Tuesday, November 18th from 3:00-6:00pm) at the RIT Inn and Conference Center. Since we need an accurate head count to plan food and drinks for the meeting, I’m asking that you please contact me if you are planning to attend. You can send me an email directly (joseph_guido@urmc.rochester.edu) or use the form on our Contact Page.

We have a great program in store including our keynote speaker, Mike Molter, Principal Statistical Programmer from INC Research in North Carolina.  Mike just happens to be a past Chair of GVSUG and will be Conference Chair of NESUG next year in Burlington Vermont.  Mike will be speaking to us on “Tips and Tricks for Creating the Reports Your Clients Need to See (Proc Report and ODS is featured)” [see our previous post for a full summary].

We also have a former GVSUG executive board member, Steve Lalonde, Assoc Professor of Quality and Applied Statistics at Rochester Institute of Technology who will speak to us on ODS Statistical Graphics enchancements in SAS version 9.2.

There will be voting for our new board (Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer and At-Large positions).  We will have several prize giveaways as well as our GVSUG logo judging contest.  You will also have a chance to network with other SAS programmers/users and enjoy some food and drink.

So, if you would please send me an email so we might obtain an accurate number for the food and beverages it would be most appreciated. Hope to see you there.

Joseph Guido,
GVSUG Chair
