Example Comments
Greetings to members and blog readers. By popular request, this will be the first of a series of posts highlighting new features of the revised GVSUG blog.
Every News post in the new GVSUG blog now has a comments area that allows site visitors to leave public replies to the post’s content. This allows readers to respond to questions, share content and links, and pose questions of their own.
At present, this function is not restricted to GVSUG members; any visitor to the site can reply by using the form provided at the end of a blog post. While you must provide a name and valid email address in order to post a comment on our site, your email is not displayed to the public (or shared with any third party).
Apart from screening for spam, we are not currently holding comments for moderation. So, once you click the “Post Your Comment” button, your text will be immediately added to the site and our comments RSS feed.
If you make a mistake, don’t worry. Providing you use the same browser (and don’t delete your cookies), you can always go back and edit your own comments.
Well, I guess that’s about it. If anyone has any questions related to commenting or the site in general, why not leave a comment below.
Adam Rains,
GVSUG Webmaster
