I've had a few Internet Explorer 6 users contact me indicating that our form doesn't render well in their browser (i.e., they need to refresh the reCAPTCHA panel in order to see any words). We have gone to great lengths to ensure our site renders well on older browsers (IE6 specifically), some features just can't be supported by such old software.

Since I hate to see people suffer needlessly, I want to take this opportunity to encourage any hold-out IE6 users out there to please, please update your browsers. It will improve your overall web surfing experience by giving you faster page loads, improved security, multiple tabs, better image rendering, and a host of other features.

Here are my recommendations for good lightweight modern browsers you may want to consider:

Mozilla Firefox 3.0 (Mac & PC)
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

Apple Safari (Mac & PC)
http://www.apple.com/safari/download/

Google Chrome (PC)
http://www.google.com/chrome

While still somewhat bulky, if you are suspicious of non-Microsoft applications, two newer versions of the Internet Explorer ( 7 or 8 ) browser are also available.

Hope this helps, Adam

Using internet is simple as hell. But I can tell y ou right now, it can be very hard, if you are the first time user.
So, first thing I suggest - open the Explorer, and type in the address you like.
You'll get there really fast, it depends on your connection speed.
Good luck.

To all at GVSUG:

Thank you for the well wishes. It was a pleasure working with the EC committee and all of the members during these last few years. We all helped in building this organization to a very good level. I wish you all the best and I look forward to seeing you in my trips back up north, at the regional conferences, and/or at the national conferences.

Archie,
Many thanks for your insightful and persuasively argued comment. It is readers such as yourself which make all the hard work I put into the GVSUG site worthwhile.
Best Wishes, Adam

PS. Not to be pedantic but I believe "dstyhkmudv9n0mac" is traditionally spelled with two 9s.
