Membership

The Genesee Valley SAS Users Group is open to anyone with an interest in learning about SAS. Whether you’re a seasoned programmer, a new user, or just new to the area, GVSUG membership connects you to a growing community with diverse interests and skill levels. Your annual membership fee entitles you to,

• Free admission to all GVSUG meetings
• Full access to the members-only areas of gvsug.org including,
  • Job Postings Board
  • Tips & Tricks Section
  • Meeting Presentations
• Invitations to GVSUG special events (SAS’n'Suds, BBQ,…)
• Entry for prize drawings at GVSUG meetings & events
• A vote in the annual GVSUG Executive Board election

Cost

Membership dues directly support the activities and events organized by the GVSUG. All membership dues are non-refundable and good for one year from the date of payment.

• General Membership: $20/year
• Student/Unemployed Membership: $10/year
  (valid student ID or proof of employment status required)
• Non-Member Event Admission: $10/meeting
  (includes one-time event admission and prize drawing entry only)

How to Join

There are several easy ways for you to join the GVSUG or renew an existing/former membership.

To register online please select the “Join” or “Renew Membership” option and complete the form provided at the bottom of this page. One of the GVSUG Executive Board will contact you to arrange payment and finalize your membership.

You can also register or renew in person by completing a membership form at one of our two annual meetings. Simply locate the GVSUG Executive Board member staffing the meeting welcome table and they can walk you through the registration process.  Please arrive a little early to allow sufficient time to complete your registration before the meeting begins.
