Greetings members,
I’m very pleased to announce the arrival of the GVSUG’s very own brand new presentation laptop. Thanks to some good comparison shopping and year end deals, I was able to obtain a well-loaded Dell Latitude D630 laptop with a 4 year warranty for just under $1000 before taxes. It came with Vista Business…sorry, but I am sure during these next four years that Microsoft will come out with a new, viable operating system. The base software is loaded, anti-virus protection in place, and SAS v9.2 has been installed so this means we can use it at our next meeting. The extra battery which Mike Tomb suggested will arrive in another week. Read the rest of this entry »
